CPCUG uses Polls for three main purposes, If you think of another, comment below on this page.
First, Polls are opportunities for CPCUG.org to solicit views from those who visit our site. These questions are usually seen by chosing the main menu links below the "Vote Now" button on the far right. There is no limitation on who can vote on these questions. From time to time, matters of greater interest may be promoted to the front page, and accessible from there as well.
Second, Members of CPCUG.org may be invited to vote on questions of interest. These vote pages are not even visible except to CPCUG.org Members who are both logged in, and recognized by the website as members. If you are a current CPCUG.org member and have signed up but not told us you are a Member, use the Contact Us web message to tell us so we can check and then update your access rights. These Member votes will be used for Officer elections, and should the CPCUG.org Board so order, to gather opinion on questions of CPCUG.org policy such as membership changes.
Third, the CPCUG.org Board uses Polls to collect views and to vote on Board matters. These polls are not visible except to CPCUG.org Board Members who have both logged in, and are recognized by the website as Board members. If you are a current CPCUG.org Board member and have signed up but not told us you are a Board Member, use the Contact Us web message to tell us so we can check and then update your access rights.
