The Northern Virginia SQL Server Users Group was started in early by members of the SQL community who were interested in sharing experiences and disseminating knowledge to other members in the Northern VA/DC/Central MD area. Founding members hail from AT&T, Edgewood Solutions, and Solid Quality Learning, but after only two years the representation of companies stands at over 100, with over 300 registered members. The members comprise the SQL Server, Business Intelligence, and Web/traditional programming disciplines, providing anyone who attends with a range of views related to SQL Server.
The goal of the leadership of NOVASQL is to provide a comfortable environment where members can participate in multi-disciplinary discussions of SQL-related issues.
